Hello! Welcome to the Fuck Yeah Dresden Files Extra Information Page! I know, that title is way too long. Let’s just call it FYDF Info, or something!

Warning: Yes, this tumblr may contain spoilers. We usually wait a few months to post anything from the most recently released books, but all of the other books are fair game and art, quotes, or passages from those books may very well be posted - so if you haven’t read all of the books leading up to the most recent one, just be warned! Though usually too much isn’t given away.
This tumblr is dedicated to The Dresden Files, a series of Science Fiction books written by bestselling author Jim Butcher. The Dresden Files is a series of books told from the perspective of a professional wizard/private investigator by the name of Harry Dresden. Harry lives in Chicago and fights off not only some of its normal, mortal crime hazards, but also it’s abnormal, paranormal ones. The series was adapted into a TV series on Sci-Fi starring Paul Blackthorne as Harry Dresden, and the series lasted for one season, featuring 12 episodes.
There are currently 13 books in the seriess. They are: Storm Front, Fool Moon, Grave Peril, Summer Knight, Death Masks, Blood Rites, Dead Beat, Proven Guilty, White Night, Small Favor, Turn Coat, Changes, and Ghost Story. Jim has also released “Side Jobs” - which is a book that brings together a collection of short stories he has written from time to time for The Dresden Files.
This tumblr will post information regarding Jim Butcher himself, or any news related to The Dresden Files. It will post quotes, passages, pictures, and art. We also post captions from the original Dresden Files series. Any captions posted are made by the owner of this tumblr unless otherwise stated. Any and all art posted is credited and will usually not come from the owner of this tumblr.
I (the blog admin/mod, whatever you’d like to call me) am a fan of the books and the television series, and believe me I don’t know everything there is to know about it. But questions are welcomed and I will do everything in my power to answer them as accurately as possible.
Submissions are always allowed and opened, but make sure to read the rules carefully before submitting anything. I have the right to refuse posting something submitted should it go against the rules - but I am very understanding and will usually give you a chance to fix your problem and then re-submit.
If you have ANY questions related to The Dresden Files or this tumblr, feel free to ask them. I log in at least once a day to check the tumblr and to keep it updated. Don’t feel bad calling me out on something - we all make mistakes and I would rather be called out on it, so that I can fix it, than have it stay the way it is and make the tumblr look badly!
