Cold Days' estimated release date
Jim’s deadline for the “Cold Days” manuscript is July 1st. Penguin hasn’t told him when they plan to publish the finished book (revisions, printing, and distribution will take a few months), but I’d imagine fall 2012 is likely. Maybe Octoberish? There’s a rumour going around that it’ll be released on Jan. 3, 2013. However, I wouldn’t rely on that date, seeing as Butcher hasn’t officially announced anything.

I’ve started requiring students in my Lord of the Rings class to read a Dresden novel. 90 percent of them run out and buy all the rest. There’s so many, they are now asking for a class on just Jim Butcher!
